Talent Strategy is no longer a buzzword.
As AI reshapes recruitment, it’s where future-fit Talent Acquisition partners are heading. I made that transition several years ago, and I’m looking to speak with others who want to make it too.
What am I looking for?
A recruiter or Talent Acquisition partner based in Canada’s Eastern time zone, with a strong track record of finding high-value talent through precise, well-paced headhunting.
You’ll understand the complexity of working across a global, matrixed skilled services business and have a good grounding in talent management and strategy—even if you’re still developing your Talent Strategy practice.
You may not have held a Talent Strategy role before. What matters is that you’re ready to move beyond filling vacancies: thinking about how we build, buy,
bot and deploy talent; identifying the future-fit skills we’ll need in an AI-shaped world; and connecting talent to future business priorities. You’ll be curious about external expertise and new technology, and keen to design smarter processes that help us do more with less.
That’s the work of a Strategic Talent Partner at GP Strategies.
The role starts in November 2026 and offers a base salary of CA$70,000 per year, plus a 20% annual performance-based bonus.
Please don’t send me a CV; they’re so 2010s. Find me on LinkedIn as the Senior Vice President of Talent & Transformation at GP Strategies and send me a connection request. Once we’re connected, message me in no more than 100 words explaining why you want to work in Talent Strategy.
