Starbelly Open Kitchen & Lounge is seeking a dedicated and experienced Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food preparation, strong food safety practices, and the ability to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

The Grill

Cook will play an important role in maintaining the quality, consistency, and presentation standards of Starbelly Open Kitchen & Lounge.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook grilled dishes according to Starbelly recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and presentation specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding kitchen areas
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist with prep work and other kitchen duties as needed
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining consistency and quality
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs to the Head Chef or management
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment




- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Grill Cook or Line Cook in a restaurant environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, grilling techniques, and food safety standards
- Solid understanding of food handling procedures and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when needed
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
