Duties

- Deliver engaging, in-person tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs in high school math and physics courses
- Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student learning goals
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to ensure understanding and mastery of concepts
- Support students with homework, test preparation, and project work, emphasizing problem-solving techniques
- Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that boosts student confidence and enthusiasm for STEM subjects
- Utilize computer skills to incorporate digital tools and resources into lessons for enhanced learning experiences
- Collaborate with parents, teachers,



and school staff to monitor student progress and address any learning challenges

Qualifications

- Proven experience working with children or teenagers in an educational or tutoring setting
- Strong background in high school-level math and physics, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Prior classroom experience or teaching background is highly desirable
- Knowledge of special education strategies to support diverse learning needs is a plus
- Excellent computer skills with familiarity in educational software or online learning platforms
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring students to succeed academically in STEM fields
- Ability to communicate effectively with students of varying skill levels and backgrounds
