Residential Cleaning & Home Care Professional

Northern Comfort & Co.

Pay: CA$25–CA$30 per hour + tips and performance bonuses

Work Location: In person — client homes

Anyone can wipe a countertop, push a vacuum or mop a floor. So why are so many homeowners less than thrilled with the results of surface cleaning?

Because a home can look clean at a glance and still have plenty that’s been overlooked. And when someone is paying for a professional cleaning service, they shouldn’t have to finish the job after the team has left.

At Northern Comfort & Co., we want our clients to get through a busy work week with an immaculately clean, thoughtfully cared-for home—and time back in their day.

Thorough, consistent residential cleaning is at the heart of what we do. We’ve also expanded into complementary services, including window cleaning, handyman help, pantry organizing and, most recently, hosting support.

We’re building a full-service home care operation that takes more of the never-ending to-do list off homeowners’ plates, giving them time to enjoy the homes and people they work so hard for.

And we need people who care about delivering on that promise.

THE PEOPLE MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

Our clients invite us into their homes and, in many cases, welcome the same designated cleaning professionals every week or every other week.

You get to know their home, their preferences and the little things that matter to them. They get to know you and trust that when you’re coming, their home is in good hands.

That takes reliability, attention to detail and pride in your work. It also takes someone who enjoys helping others and understands that a excellent clean changes how a person feels about coming home.

We value those relationships, and we reward our teams for building them.

WHAT THE JOB INVOLVES

Working as part of a two-person cleaning team, you will:

- Thoroughly clean clients’ homes, following our standards and each home’s agreed scope of work.

- Pay attention to the details that are easily missed.
- Learn client preferences and deliver consistent results from visit to visit.
- Organize your tasks and work efficiently with your teammate.
- Check your work and help ensure the entire home is completed properly.
- Communicate client feedback and anything that needs additional attention or time.

Your role is focused on residential cleaning and home care. Our additional services support the same goal: making life easier for our clients. EFFICIENCY DOESN’T MEAN CUTTING CORNERS

This is an active, hands-on job. You will be moving throughout the day, and learning a good routine makes a difference.

We’ll help you learn the best order to complete tasks, avoid wasted effort and work effectively as a team.

We don’t believe in packing an unrealistic number of homes into your day and expecting you to race through them. We want you to become very good at what you do, with the time to do it properly.

The standard should be just as high on your twentieth visit as it was on your first.

COMPETITIVE PAY + TIPS + BONUSES

Our cleaning professionals earn a percentage of each clean they complete, plus 100% of their tips and performance bonuses.

We offer

- Conversion bonuses when a first-time client becomes a regular client.
- Higher retention bonuses for keeping that client with us over time.

It’s one thing to impress someone on the first clean. Consistently delivering that same care is what makes them want you back. Keep your standards high, build trust with your clients and have the opportunity to earn more.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Cleaning experience is helpful, but it isn’t everything. We’re looking for people who are:

- Caring: You notice when something needs attention and take pride in helping.
- Reliable: You arrive on time, ready to work, knowing people are counting on you.
- Professional: You respect that you’re entering someone’s private home and representing Northern Comfort & Co
