Spillett Security Group Inc. is hiring reliable, professional Full-Time Security Guards to provide overnight hotel and property security services in the Canmore, Alberta area.

Schedule

- Overnight shifts: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Full time: Five days on, two days off

Responsibilities

- Conduct foot and mobile patrols of hotels, staff accommodations, and residential properties
- Respond professionally to disturbances, complaints, and security-related incidents
- Assist with emergency situations, including fire and medical incidents
- Complete accurate and detailed incident reports
- Monitor security desks and assist hotel guests and staff as required
- Maintain a professional and approachable presence while ensuring the safety and security of properties

Requirements

- Valid Alberta Security Services Worker Licence
- Valid First Aid certification
- Valid driver's licence




- Minimum three years of continuous, verifiable automobile insurance history (required for company vehicle insurance)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
- Reliable, responsible, and comfortable working overnight shifts

Assets

- Previous hospitality or customer service experience
- Education in Police Sciences, Criminology, or a related field
- Previous security experience

Training On-the-job training will be provided to successful candidates.

Please note: Staff housing is NOT available for this position. Applicants must have their own accommodation in the area.

Pay: $19.90-$21.91 per hour
