- Develop target state architectures and transition states (roadmaps, waves, and cutover strategies).
- Lead discovery and dependency mapping for applications, data, and infrastructure services.
- Define migration methodologies (live, replication‐assisted, bulk cold moves) aligned to SLAs.
- Architect network segmentation and IP addressing strategies for non‐overlapping multi‐site deployments.
- Specify storage and data movement approaches for block, file, and object workloads.
- Establish resiliency, DR, and backup patterns; validate RPO/RTO and failover procedures.
- Create runbooks for pilot, bulk, and critical cutovers with rollback criteria and success metrics.
- Govern platform standards (compute, virtualization, storage, network, security) and configuration baselines.
- Lead technical risk management, change control, and issue triage during migration waves.
