Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can grow your skills in inventory and warehouse logistics? Produce Express, one of Woodstock’s fastest-growing, proudly Canadian-owned companies, is hiring an Overnight shift Inventory Associate to join our expanding team.

This position plays a key role in keeping our warehouse running efficiently. You’ll be responsible for accurately storing incoming inventory using power equipment, helping maintain organized stock levels, and supporting receiving and quality control processes to ensure our products meet high standards.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, detail-focused, and thrives in a fast-moving environment. This is an overnight shift.

Inventory Management

- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures to ensure proper stock rotation and minimize waste.
- Perform regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies.

Receiving and Inspection

- Inspect incoming produce for quality, freshness, and accuracy of quantities received.
- Record incoming deliveries accurately in the inventory system.
- Report discrepancies, damaged products, shortages, or quality concerns.

Stock Counts and Audits

- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits.




- Compare physical inventory with system records to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.

Waste Management

- Monitor product dates and identify items approaching expiry.
- Rotate stock regularly to maintain product quality and reduce waste.
- Report damaged, spoiled, or unsellable products and ensure proper disposal.

Team Coordination and Communication

- Collaborate with the procurement team to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Communicate with warehouse staff to support proper product handling, usage, and rotation.
- Work with team members to maintain accurate inventory records and efficient warehouse operations.

What We’re Looking For

- Valid forklift certification
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, counterbalance, or walkies
- Demonstrate initiative, solid decision-making skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and bending throughout the shift
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg) on a regular basis
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Previous produce/grocery store experience preferred
