Pay: $18 + Tips and bonus (up to 500$ every 6 months)

Fun Diggers is an indoor family entertainment centre featuring children’s sand play, remote-controlled excavators and crawlers, birthday parties, and a café. We’re looking for friendly, reliable crew members who enjoy working with children and families.

Join our vibrant team as a Kids Play Area Crew Member and become a key part of creating joyful, secure, and engaging environments for children to explore and have fun! In this energetic role, you will oversee the operation of the kids’ play zone, ensuring it remains a secure, clean, and welcoming space for children and their families. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster positive experiences that keep families coming back.

Duties

- Welcome families, explain play rules, and support safe, enjoyable sand play.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the play zone, including sanitizing equipment regularly
- Enforce safety rules and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist parents and guardians with questions or concerns about the play area




- Monitor play equipment for any maintenance needs or hazards and report issues promptly
- Support team members in setting up themed activities or special events for children
- Bring enthusiasm and energy to children’s activities, birthday parties, and events, helping create engaging and memorable experiences.
- Take orders, prepare coffee and simple snacks, serve guests, and process payments.
- Follow food safety and allergy procedures, restock supplies, and report safety concerns.

Experience

- Friendly, patient, and dependable, with good communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable with active work and helping across the play area and café.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to remain attentive, energetic, and positive in a fast-paced environment
- Capture daily photos and short videos for social media marketing, following guest consent procedures; experience creating social media content is an asset.
- Experience in customer service, cafés, or children’s activities is an asset. Food Handler and First Aid/CPR certifications are preferred.
