Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Helper/Cook to join our vibrant food service team. Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors to ensure timely meal production
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food safely by practicing proper hygiene, storage, and handling procedures at all times
- Serve meals efficiently to customers or staff,

- Help with inventory management by receiving deliveries, checking for quality, and storing ingredients appropriately
- Support the overall food service operation by adhering to health and safety guidelines and assisting team members as needed

Skills

- Experience in food handling, meal preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food industry environment
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols and proper hygiene practices
- Ability to serve food efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and basic food preparation techniques
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with restaurant operations or previous food service experience is preferred
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors

Pay: $17.95-$19.95 per hour
