JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Executive Chef, this entry-level position supports our Culinary team by assisting with food preparation and maintaining clean, organized, and ready-to-use dishes and cookware.

Responsibilities include completing a variety of food preparation tasks, washing dishes and cookware, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and supporting the Culinary team to help keep our restaurants running smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Wash, sanitize, and properly store pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other kitchenware throughout the shift.
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Organize and stack clean dishware, ensuring items are properly stored and readily available for service.
- Assist with light kitchen preparation tasks, including peeling and preparing vegetables and other basic food preparation.




- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary dishwashing and kitchen work areas.
- Support the Culinary team with additional kitchen duties as assigned by leadership.
- Consistently follow food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and Tigh-Na-Mara standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous dishwashing, kitchen, or food service experience is considered an asset; however, training will be provided.
- Positive, dependable, and team-oriented with a willingness to learn and take direction.
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, organization, and workplace safety.
- Ability to work efficiently under time pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including repetitive bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and using stairs.
- Flexible availability to work shifts based on business requirements, including weekends and holidays.
