Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly in Spanish and English, providing friendly and attentive service to enhance their visit
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling bakery items, beverages, and specialty products to maximize sales opportunities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation are top-notch
- Operate the POS system (Point of Sale), including Micros POS, accurately handling cash transactions and processing payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service




- Handle food handling responsibilities responsibly, including proper storage, portioning, and serving of bakery products

Skills

- Previous food service experience with knowledge of food preparation and handling techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for effective cash handling and transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in Spanish and English
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and inventory counting
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper kitchen hygiene
- Experience in restaurant or bakery environments is highly preferred
- Ability to upsell products confidently to increase sales while providing genuine recommendations
