About the Role

Miss Bean Café is a growing café offering a wide range of freshly prepared dishes from morning through evening service. Our menu includes breakfast favorites such as pancakes, waffles, and crepes, along with sandwiches and other café meals.

We are looking for a motivated and proactive kitchen team member who enjoys preparing quality food and working in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and passionate about delivering well-presented meals to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare café menu items such as pancakes, waffles, crepes, sandwiches, and other cafe items
- Ensure dishes are prepared consistently according to recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain a smooth kitchen workflow during busy service periods
- Assist with daily kitchen preparation and station setup
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
- Help manage stock levels, receive deliveries, and reduce food waste




- Work with management on improving menu items and introducing new specials

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of kitchen or cooking experience in a café or restaurant environment
- Comfortable preparing multiple menu items quickly during busy periods
- Valid Food Handler / Food Safety Certification
- Strong attention to detail in food preparation and plating
- Ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced kitchen
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
- Availability for morning, afternoon, and occasional evening shifts
