Duties

- Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, ensuring all food is fresh and properly handled
- Cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders




- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure quality control
- Contribute to maintaining inventory levels by rotating stock and notifying management of supply needs

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent understanding of meal preparation and presentation techniques
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and follow instructions accurately
- Basic serving skills to assist with plating or serving when needed
- Passion for culinary arts with a desire to learn and grow within the food industry

Pay: $18.25-$25.43 per hour
