Job Summary

Join the Rocky Ferro’s team as a Line Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Italian dishes with precision, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation.

Must have flexible hours, working Thursday-Saturday are a must.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items in a fast paced setting
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to the dining area while maintaining high service standards
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and storage protocols
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple orders simultaneously




- Follow all health department regulations and restaurant policies to uphold a secure working environment

Skills

- Minimum 2-years experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and take instruction
- Excellent understanding of meal preparation processes and kitchen operations; can easily understand and comprehend our menu
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff
- Serving experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to engage with guests professionally
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and sanitation standards necessary for quality food service

Pay: $19.00 per hour
