Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, supporting kitchen operations, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, strong culinary skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Prior experience in dietary departments or catering is a plus, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling protocols.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to menu specifications and recipes
- Assist in menu planning and daily meal preparation for various service periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage
- Support the cooking team during busy service hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Follow all food safety standards and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools
- Assist with catering events and special meal preparations as needed




- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with kitchen staff and serving personnel

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or culinary setting
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning, fine dining, or catering is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Prior dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus but not required
- Valuable communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
