About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Logistics Manager to lead their logistics operations in Kimberley . This senior role involves overseeing all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics, supply chain planning, and transportation management to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. You will be responsible for developing and implementing logistics strategies, managing carrier relationships, and leading a team of logistics professionals. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies to support business objectives.
- Manage and optimize all transportation activities, including domestic and international shipments.
- Oversee warehouse operations and inventory management to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with transportation carriers and third-party logistics providers.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the logistics team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.




- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track logistics efficiency and identify areas for enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar senior logistics leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain management, transportation, and warehouse operations.
- Strong experience with logistics software, including TMS and WMS.
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and P&L; for logistics operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
