Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team, responsible for maintaining and repairing various industrial equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and be proficient in electrical systems, HVAC, and logic controllers. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read schematics and effectively troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance of machinery.

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failures using schematics and technical manuals.
- Maintain electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and controls.
- Fabricate parts as needed for repairs or modifications to existing equipment.
- Conduct inspections of machinery to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.




- Document maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Experience

- Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC systems, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in machinery operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
- Experience with fabrication techniques is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
