Responsibilities

- Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures.
- Manage appointment scheduling using electronic medical records systems, ensuring optimal patient flow.
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls to appropriate staff members and handling inquiries professionally.
- Collect and update patient information, insurance details, and medical histories accurately in electronic medical records.

Skills

- Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as OSCAR
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately communicate with patients and staff.
- Experience working as receptionist in healthcare settings
- Prior experience in a medical office setting demonstrating excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with office equipment and administrative procedures to support seamless front desk operations.
