We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Level 3 Early Childhood Educator who has completed Montessori training or holds a Montessori diploma and is excited to be part of a collaborative team.

Your Role

As our Montessori Early Childhood Educator, you will help create a calm, welcoming, and engaging environment for children aged 4 to 6 years.

Your Shift - 8:30am to 5:30 or 7:30 to 4:30

Your responsibilities will include:

- Planning and implementing engaging Montessori activities that support children's independence, curiosity, and development.
- Preparing and maintaining organized Montessori classrooms with purposeful, age-appropriate learning materials.
- Observing children's interests, abilities, and developmental progress and adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
- Supporting children's physical, cognitive, language, social, and emotional development.
- Encouraging practical life skills, concentration, problem-solving, independence, and respect for others.
- Maintaining children's health, safety, well-being, and active supervision at all times.
- Building warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Communicating with parents about children's learning, progress,



and daily experiences.
- Completing observations, assessments, documentation, and curriculum plans.
- Collaborating with the team to implement Montessori practices alongside Alberta's Flight Early Learning and Child Care Framework.
- Supporting and guiding Level 1 and Level 2 educators and contributing to a positive, professional team environment.
- Participating in staff meetings, curriculum planning, and ongoing professional development.

Required Qualifications Please apply only if you meet the following essential requirements:

- Valid Alberta Early Childhood Educator Level 3 certification.
- Completed Montessori teacher training or a Montessori diploma. Candidates must have formal Montessori training and a strong understanding of Montessori principles and classroom practices.
- Experience working with children aged 12 months to 6 years in a licensed childcare setting.
- Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current Police Information Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Search, in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Strong communication, organization, observation, and teamwork skills.
- A caring, patient, respectful, and professional approach to working with children and families.
- Ability to prepare Montessori activities, maintain classroom materials, and support children's independence.
