Duties

- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Help clients engage in recreational activities and social outings to encourage active living
- Document care provided accurately in client records and communicate updates to team members effectively

Requirements





- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently
- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent credential is an asset
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed
