Garden City Pest Control is looking for a dependable Pest Control Technician to serve residential and commercial clients throughout Victoria and the surrounding communities.

We’re a local small business seeking someone who communicates clearly, takes pride in their work, and is ready to learn. Previous pest control experience is an asset, but we provide full training and company-paid licensing support.

About the Role

You’ll assess pest concerns, carry out appropriate treatments, and help customers understand how to prevent future problems. Following an initial period of working alongside an experienced team member, you’ll manage service appointments independently while representing our company professionally.

Your Responsibilities

- Inspect homes and commercial properties for signs of pest activity and conditions that may attract pests.
- Identify pest concerns and recommend suitable treatment options.
- Perform treatments using company-approved products, procedures, and safety practices.
- Explain treatment plans, prevention measures, and recommended follow-up steps to customers.
- Complete service reports and treatment records accurately and promptly.
- Follow company procedures, applicable provincial requirements, and safety protocols.
- Keep your assigned service vehicle, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Deliver friendly, respectful service at every appointment.
- Manage daily appointments independently once initial training is complete.

What You Bring

- A valid Class 5 driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
- Current residence in Victoria, BC, or a nearby community.




- Strong communication and customer service skills, including attentive listening.
- A practical approach to troubleshooting and solving problems.
- Dependability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn.
- Good organization and time-management skills.
- The physical ability to handle heavy materials and safely move and use tall ladders.
- Comfort working indoors, outdoors, and in tight or confined spaces when required.

Helpful Experience

- Experience in landscaping, skilled trades, or property maintenance.
- This qualification is an asset. Garden City Pest Control provides full training and licensing support to successful candidates.
