About Pacific Blue Mechanical

Pacific Blue Mechanical is a growing plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical service company serving residential, commercial, and strata properties throughout Metro Vancouver.

We specialize in plumbing repairs, emergency service, drainage, mechanical systems, and preventative maintenance.

As our service division continues to expand, we're looking for motivated 1st- and 2nd-Year Plumbing Apprentices who want to gain valuable hands-on experience and build a long-term career in the plumbing industry.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced journeyman plumbers, develop your troubleshooting abilities, and gain exposure to a wide range of plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

- Assist experienced plumbers with residential, commercial, and strata service calls.
- Perform plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance under supervision.
- Assist with diagnosing leaks, low water pressure, drainage issues, and plumbing failures.
- Install and replace faucets, toilets, sinks, valves, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Assist with hot water tank installations and replacements.
- Support drainage cleaning, sewer repairs, and camera inspections.
- Learn how to troubleshoot plumbing systems and identify mechanical issues.
- Help prepare materials, tools, and equipment for daily service calls.
- Maintain clean and organized company vehicles and job sites.
- Communicate professionally with customers, building managers, and team members.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and plumbing industry standards.
- Complete service documentation and assist with job reports.

Qualifications
- Currently a 1st- or 2nd-Year Plumbing Apprentice,



or working toward registration with SkilledTradesBC.
- Some hands-on plumbing experience preferred.
- Experience in residential or commercial plumbing is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, and installations.
- Valid BC driver's licence preferred.
- Willingness to travel to different job sites throughout Metro Vancouver.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with experienced technicians.
- Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills.

Previous service plumbing experience is an asset but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
