Product Owner – Application Development / ServiceNow App Engine

About the Role

Our consulting client is looking for a Product Owner with ServiceNow App Engine / Application Development experience to support application development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong product ownership experience, excellent client-facing skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

This role will be responsible for translating business needs into actionable requirements, developing user stories, supporting UAT, and helping ensure solutions align with organizational processes and objectives.

Responsibilities

- Complete data analysis and lead working sessions to develop processes, define roles and responsibilities, and determine key metrics and KPIs.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to long-term business goals and platform adoption.
- Develop functional requirements and user stories.
- Build process documents and collaborate with the Sr. Developer to ensure stories support the processes developed.
- Support UAT enablement.




- Provide functional subject matter expertise to ensure the solution follows procedural and industry best practices.
- Provide expertise including advisement on communications plans, training needs analysis, organizational change management materials, training materials, and other support.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective application solutions.

What You Bring
- Product Owner experience supporting application development initiatives.
- ServiceNow App Engine / Application Development experience.
- Robust experience developing functional requirements and user stories.
- Experience supporting UAT.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Experience working with technical teams, including developers.
- Ability to provide functional subject matter expertise and work within established processes and industry best practices.
- Experience with communications planning, training needs analysis, organizational change management materials, and training materials is an asset.
