About the Position

Dean’s Shawarma is looking for a reliable, motivated, and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in Alexandria, Ontario. The successful candidate will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure excellent customer service, maintain food quality and cleanliness, and help the team work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily restaurant operations and coordinate kitchen and front-counter activities.
- Prepare shawarma and other menu items while maintaining consistent food quality.
- Take customer orders, serve customers, and handle payments when required.
- Prepare ingredients and assist with daily kitchen preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, counters, equipment, and dining areas.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and proper food-handling procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory and supplies and help minimize food waste.
- Assist with staff coordination, training, and daily task assignments.
- Address customer questions and resolve complaints professionally.
- Ensure the restaurant operates efficiently and provides a positive customer experience.





Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience is required.
- Previous supervisory or management experience is an asset.
- Experience preparing shawarma or other fast-food items is an advantage.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Valuable organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling practices.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to perform kitchen duties, including standing for extended periods and handling routine food preparation tasks.
