Pay: $20.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Approximately 21 hours per week (3 shifts), with weekday and weekend availability required.

Vault 88 is a growing women’s fashion boutique located in Falkland, BC. We offer a curated selection of contemporary clothing, denim, accessories, and lifestyle pieces, with a focus on personal style, quality, and an exceptional shopping experience.

We’re looking for a motivated, fashion-forward Retail Sales Associate & Creative Assistant who shares our passion for fashion, styling, and social media.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers while also having a creative role in helping grow our brand both in-store and online.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

- Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience.
- Assist customers with outfit styling, product recommendations, and purchasing decisions.
- Build lasting customer relationships.
- Take initiative in driving daily sales and meeting store goals.

Daily Store Operations
- Open and close the boutique independently when required.
- Operate Shopify POS and accurately process customer transactions.
- Complete daily cash register counts and store procedures.
- Prepare, package, and manage online orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.

Inventory & Visual Merchandising
- Receive, unpack, tag, and organize incoming merchandise.
- Restock products and maintain an organized inventory area.




- Style mannequins and create attractive clothing displays.
- Maintain and refresh store layouts to showcase new arrivals and seasonal collections.

Social Media & Content Creation
- Assist with capturing photos and videos for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and other marketing platforms.
- Participate in creating engaging Instagram Stories, Reels, and styled fashion content.
- Be comfortable appearing in social media content, including talking videos and outfit styling.
- Contribute creative ideas that align with Vault 88’s brand and aesthetic.
- Help create content that builds customer engagement, brand awareness, and sales.

Website & Digital Support
- Assist with updating products, photos, and descriptions on Shopify.
- Support basic website maintenance and product organization.
- Help create on-brand digital and promotional content.
- Assist with online merchandising and product launches.

Qualifications & Skills We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for women’s fashion, styling, and current trends.
- Has a strong sense of personal style and understands the Vault 88 aesthetic.
- Is reliable, punctual, organized, and self-motivated.
- Can work independently, follow daily task lists, and take initiative without constant supervision.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.




- Enjoys interacting with customers and building relationships.
- Is comfortable participating in social media content creation.
- Has strong time-management skills and attention to detail.
- Is flexible and willing to assist with all aspects of operating a growing boutique.
- Is available to work both weekdays and weekends.

Preference will be given to those with experience in:
- Retail sales and customer service
- Shopify or other POS systems
- Canva, Instagram, TikTok, and content creation
- Fashion styling and visual merchandising
- E-commerce or website product management

Willing to train the right candidate. Wage will be negotiable based on actual experience level.
