Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and refunds.
- Conduct product demonstrations and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention and promote featured products.
- Provide knowledgeable support on technology products or other specialty items, including basic technical explanations or demos.
- Handle customer questions via phone or in person with professionalism, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Manage time effectively to balance cashier duties with sales assistance during busy periods while maintaining organizational standards.
Requirements
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred; technical sales experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain products clearly and listen attentively to customer needs.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage merchandising displays and keep the sales floor tidy.
- Ability to perform basic physical tasks such as standing for extended periods and lifting moderate loads.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
