About us

Gummy Nutrition Lab is Edmonton’s first nutraceutical gummy manufacturer and the maker of GUMvees, science-backed functional gummies sold at Walmart, airport stores across Canada and independent health retailers. We’re a small, food-scientist-led team, and you’ll work directly with our CEO.

The role

You’ll be the face of GUMvees in stores across Edmonton and beyond. You’ll pitch our products to store managers, run in-store demos, and gather real data on shelves, competitors and what shoppers want. That data goes straight to our R&D; team to help shape new products.

What you’ll do

- Visit pharmacies, grocery and health food stores to present GUMvees and open new accounts
- Run in-store sampling events and collect consumer feedback
- Audit shelf placement, pricing and competing products
- Train store staff and support existing retail accounts
- Report monthly on visits, sales and market insights

Must have

- A valid driver’s licence, clean driving record and reliable, insured vehicle
- Willing to travel, including out-of-town trips
- Available for occasional evenings and weekends

What you bring

- A diploma or degree in nutrition, food science, kinesiology,



dietetics or a related field (business and marketing grads also welcome)
- Confidence talking to store staff and shoppers, and the ability to explain product advantages clearly
- Self-motivated and organized; comfortable planning your own route

Mandatory eligibility (no exceptions) This position is funded through a federal youth employment program. Applicants must meet all of the following, and we cannot consider anyone who doesn’t:

- Age 15 to 30 at the start date
- A completed post-secondary diploma or degree
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, legally entitled to work in Alberta
- No previous participation in a federally funded youth graduate internship (Youth Employment and Skills Strategy)

Mileage and travel expenses covered, product samples, and hands-on experience in the natural health products industry. There’s potential to stay on after March 2027.
