Job Overview

- Position: Part-Time rTMS Technician / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/other allied health professional
- Location: Fredericton rTMS Clinic, Fredericton, New Brunswick
- Compensation: $28 – $32 per hour (Starting wage with room for progression)
- Schedule: Part-time (15–20 hours per week), Monday to Friday, Day shifts only

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic healthcare professional to join our dynamic team at our innovative mental health clinic. In this role, you will administer repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) therapy, ensure patient comfort and safety, and support outpatient mental health services. Comprehensive rTMS certification and competency-based training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

- Treatment Delivery: Prepare equipment and safely administer rTMS treatments according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Patient Monitoring: Closely monitor patients throughout treatment sessions, observing for adverse reactions or discomfort and responding promptly.
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and meticulous clinical records, including treatment responses, vital signs, and patient data in electronic health systems.
- Care Coordination: Assist with patient education regarding treatment expectations, coordinate scheduling and treatment flow,



and support clinic leadership.
- Environment Maintenance: Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and properly maintained.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Licensure: Valid LPN licensure registered and in valuable standing with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick (NANB), or qualification as any other regulated health professional with relevant clinical experience and in good standing with relevant professional regulatory body.
- Core Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and a reliable, professional work ethic.
- Preferred Experience:
- Background in mental health, psychiatry, neurology, or outpatient healthcare.
- Experience operating medical devices, clinical equipment, or electronic medical records (EMR).
- Prior rTMS or neuromodulation experience is welcomed as an asset, but not required.
