We are looking for a warm, creative and experienced early childhood educator to care for our two-year-old daughter and support her learning through play.

Our daughter loves music, dancing, books and exploring. We would love someone who can plan engaging activities around weekly themes, including arts and crafts, outdoor discovery, language, movement and imaginative play.

Our approach encourages independence: giving her time to try things herself, offering gentle guidance and celebrating her efforts. We value kindness, good manners and respect for her personal boundaries.

The position includes:

· Approximately 30–35 hours per week, Tuesday–Saturday.

· Pay: $18–$25 per hour, paid in cash, depending on experience.

· Planning activities such as storytelling, singing, dancing, painting, counting games, puzzles and nature walks, along with outings to libraries and community programs.

· Supporting meals, naps and everyday care.





· Light household duties during nap time.

· Occasional evening care.

· Willingness to accompany our family to our Haliburton cottage and potentially Mexico.

Our ideal candidate has:

· An Early Childhood Education qualification or relevant teaching background; RECE preferred.

· Hands-on experience with toddlers.

· A patient, nurturing manner and a strong understanding of child development.

· Current First Aid and CPR, a police check and excellent references.

· Solid communication skills and enthusiasm for an ongoing relationship with our family.
