About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Contracts Specialist to join their legal team in a fully remote capacity. This role is vital for the negotiation, drafting, and management of a wide array of commercial agreements that support the company's business operations. You will work closely with various departments, including sales, procurement, and IT, to ensure contracts align with business objectives and mitigate legal and commercial risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contract law principles, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex contractual frameworks in a fast-paced, remote environment. This is a key role with significant autonomy and impact.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the negotiation and drafting of complex commercial contracts, including master service agreements, NDAs, and licensing agreements.
- Review and advise on contract terms and conditions, identifying potential risks and proposing solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into legally sound contract terms.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals,



amendments, and terminations.
- Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting commercial agreements.

Requirements

- A law degree or equivalent qualification, with a strong emphasis on commercial contract law.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience specifically in commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
- In-depth knowledge of contract principles, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-value contracts simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, effective in a remote setting.
