Our Toronto-based client is hiring a

Senior Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist for an

11-month onsite contract opportunity

.

Must Haves:

- Excellent knowledge of privacy and security concepts, trends, and issues, including their impact on business processes and compliance requirements

- Experience researching and applying privacy laws, regulations, jurisprudence, and risk countermeasures

- Experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) in a public sector setting

- Knowledge of Ontario's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA), Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA), and Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), including related regulations and jurisprudence

- Ability to lead, manage, or support PIA development independently or collaboratively, gathering input from relevant stakeholders

- Ideal candidate should have PIA/Privacy experience within the digital/IT platforms.

- Prior OPS or public sector exp.
