Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and processing
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including food handling and food safety practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation, timely delivery, and guest satisfaction




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables promptly without compromising quality or service

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, food handling, and basic math for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests, team members, and kitchen staff
- Experience in food industry roles involving serving, upselling, and hospitality best practices
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a friendly, skilled demeanor at all times

Pay: $15.00 per hour
