We are seeking energetic and dependable Snow Removal Operators and Labourers to join our dynamic team during the winter season. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring protected and accessible pathways by efficiently removing snow and ice from designated areas. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help maintain a safe environment for employees, visitors, and the community.

Responsibilities
- Operate snow removal equipment such as Skidsteers, Loaders, Plow trucks, Sander, blowers, shovels, and other hand or power tools to clear snow and ice from walkways, parking lots, driveways, and entrances
- Apply salt or de-icing materials to prevent ice formation and ensure safety during winter conditions
- Perform routine inspections of work areas to identify hazards and ensure thorough snow removal coverage
- Maintain equipment by conducting basic mechanical checks, cleaning tools, and reporting any malfunctions for repairs
- Assist with landscaping tasks such as gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance when weather permits or during off-peak seasons
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling machinery and working in potentially hazardous conditions
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and ensure all areas are cleared promptly
Experience
- Previous experience operating snow removal machinery such as Loaders or skid steers is preferred but not mandatory
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues is advantageous
- Experience in landscaping, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction or maintenance work enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Construction experience or background working outdoors in various weather conditions will support your success in this position
