Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Spanish Speaking Sales Person to join our vibrant bakery and café team! In this role, you will be the friendly face and voice of our establishment, engaging with customers in Spanish to provide exceptional service, promote our delicious baked goods and beverages, and drive sales growth. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will help create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales expertise while working in a lively, food-loving environment.

25-30 hrs per week

Must be avail for afternoon shifts also, usually 1pm-7pm

Duties

- Greet customers warmly in Spanish, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated from the moment they walk in
- Promote our bakery products and café offerings through engaging conversations and tailored recommendations
- Negotiate with customers to upsell items, special promotions, or catering services effectively
- Build strong relationships with regular clients to foster loyalty and repeat business
- Identify recent business opportunities by analyzing customer preferences and market trends
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement local campaigns that attract new customers
- Manage customer inquiries professionally via phone or in person, providing clear information about products and services




- Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to track customer interactions, preferences, and sales progress
- Support business development efforts by reaching out to potential B2B clients such as local businesses or event organizers
- Assist in account management by maintaining positive relationships with key clients and ensuring their needs are met

Experience

- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the food service, bakery, or café industry
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing sales and upselling products
- Business development experience with an understanding of B2B sales strategies
- Familiarity with marketing principles to help promote products effectively
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret sales data and customer feedback for continuous improvement
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members and contribute to a collaborative environment
- Exceptional communication skills in both Spanish and English, with the ability to connect authentically with diverse customers
