About the Role This role is suited to an experienced designer with strong craft and attention to detail. The designer will act as an advocate for player-centric experiences, helping to define the next generation of the franchise and shape the user experience for millions of players.

Responsibilities span core gameplay mechanics, new game mode features, and the first-time user experience. The designer will collaborate closely with creative, technical, and product partners to shape outstanding, player-centric experiences from concept through final delivery. The UFC team is on a mission to become the world's greatest fighting game.

Required Experience & Qualifications - 5-8+ years of experience in game development, experience design, or a related product design field.

- A robust portfolio demonstrating design process and expertise in creating user-centred design solutions.
- Ability to lead the design of intuitive, responsive, and engaging user flows, wireframes, and prototypes across different platforms.
- Proficiency in up-to-date design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe Suites, or similar).
- Experience creating and maintaining clear design documentation, including user flow diagrams, wireframes, and design specifications.
- Experience leveraging AI tools and workflows to enhance design velocity, craft, and execution while maintaining high quality standards.
- Excellent communication,



presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate player-centric decisions and the 'why' behind them to cross-functional partners and leadership.
- Collaborative mindset and comfort working cross-functionally with producers, game designers, artists, and engineers.
- Ability to mentor and provide constructive feedback to more junior designers on the team.
- Strong systems thinking and an ability to design within existing frameworks and constraints.
- Experience refining, maintaining, and expanding design systems, component libraries, and design tokens.
- Ability to establish design standards and exercise judgment on where to enforce consistency versus empowering feature-specific customization.

Preferred Skills - Experience working on live service or AAA games.

- A passion for video games and interactive entertainment.
- A strong interest in the UFC brand. Workplace - Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Salary - British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs Victoria): $122,300 - $170,700 CAD
