Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency
- Handle all aspects of food preparation, including slicing fish, rolling sushi, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
- Serve customers with enthusiasm and professionalism, explaining menu items and accommodating special requests
- Manage kitchen stations efficiently during busy service hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Monitor ingredient freshness and communicate inventory needs to ensure continuous availability of high-quality products




- Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the kitchen

Experience

- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar food preparation role within a restaurant or food service environment
- Solid knowledge of sushi techniques, fish handling, and Japanese culinary traditions
- Hands-on experience in cooking, meal preparation, and food presentation in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience in the food industry is highly desirable
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage guests confidently and professionally
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
