Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Tailor/Seamstress to join our energetic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, altering, and repairing garments to ensure they meet high-quality standards and customer expectations. Your expertise in sewing, pattern-making, and fabric handling will help bring clients’ visions to life while maintaining precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Measure clients accurately to determine sizing and fit requirements.
- Cut fabric pieces precisely according to patterns or custom specifications.
- Sew, stitch, and assemble garments with attention to detail and quality.
- Alter and repair clothing items to improve fit or restore damaged pieces.
- Consult with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on fabrics and styles.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace with all sewing tools and materials properly stored.




- Ensure timely completion of all tailoring projects while adhering to quality standards.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a tailor or seamstress, with a strong portfolio of completed work.
- Proficiency in using sewing machines, hand sewing techniques, and pattern-making tools.
- Basic math skills for taking measurements and calculating fabric requirements.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to work accurately under deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of different fabrics, stitches, and garment construction methods is preferred.
