About MAGCOR INC.

MAGCOR INC. is an established Toronto-based construction services company specializing in demolition, excavation, environmental abatement, underpinning, and related construction services.

We operate alongside several affiliated companies, including GAMCON, GoodSend, and SUDICO, providing a diverse range of specialized services throughout the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions.

As our companies continue to grow, we're looking for a talented, creative, and motivated Videographer / Photographer & Content Creator to help bring our projects, people, and brands to life.

From large-scale demolition and excavation projects to specialized foundation installations, heavy equipment operations, and behind-the-scenes footage, there are countless opportunities to create visually compelling content.

We're looking for someone who can turn real construction projects into engaging, professional content that people actually want to watch.

About the Role

This is a hands-on creative position suited to someone passionate about videography, photography, storytelling, and digital media.

You'll work closely with our management team to capture and produce high-quality visual content across four construction-related businesses.

The ideal candidate has a strong creative eye, is comfortable working independently, and understands how to produce engaging content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

This position will initially be part-time, with the opportunity to develop into a full-time role as our content and marketing initiatives expand.

Important: This is not a remote position. The successful candidate must have their own skilled photography/videography equipment, editing equipment, and reliable transportation. Regular travel to active construction sites throughout Toronto and the GTA is required.

Key Responsibilities

Videography & Photography

- Visit active construction sites throughout the GTA to capture professional video and photography.
- Film heavy equipment operations, demolition projects, excavations, foundation installations, and other construction activities.
- Produce cinematic project highlights, before-and-after transformations, and promotional videos.
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage, employee interviews, and company activities.

- Create high-quality photography for websites, marketing materials, social media, and company portfolios.
- Capture aerial drone footage where appropriately qualified and authorized.

Video Editing & Content Production

- Edit professional short-form and long-form video content.
- Produce engaging Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts, and other social media content.
- Incorporate music, transitions, captions, graphics, and other creative elements.
- Apply colour correction, colour grading, and audio enhancements.
- Transform raw footage into polished, ready-to-publish content.
- Maintain an organized library of photos, videos, and completed projects.
- Ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of content.

Social Media & Brand Development

- Collaborate with management to develop creative content ideas and marketing initiatives.
- Help establish consistent visual branding across MAGCOR, GAMCON, GoodSend, and SUDICO.
- Identify opportunities to showcase unique projects, equipment, and company capabilities.
- Stay informed about social media trends, video formats, and content strategies.
- Assist with content planning, scheduling, and social media campaigns.
- Recommend creative ways to increase brand visibility, audience engagement, and online presence.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

- Previous experience in videography, photography, or digital content creation.
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or similar platforms.
- Strong photography, videography, and editing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation to project locations throughout the GTA.
- Comfortable visiting active construction sites and following all applicable safety procedures.
- A portfolio demonstrating previous video and photography work.

Preferred but Not Required:

- Experience filming construction, heavy equipment, automotive, industrial, or similar subjects.
- Experience operating drones and holding applicable Transport Canada pilot certification.

- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects, or similar applications.
- Experience producing cinematic videos and engaging social media content.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media engagement.
- Experience creating promotional content for businesses.

Formal education in photography, filmmaking, or media production is an asset but is not required. We value creativity, technical ability, and a strong portfolio over formal credentials.

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in someone who:

- Has a creative eye and understands how to make ordinary activities look extraordinary.
- Can independently identify interesting filming opportunities.
- Understands how to capture attention within the first few seconds of a video.
- Takes pride in producing polished, professional work.
- Is enthusiastic about construction, machinery, and industrial environments.
- Can work efficiently without requiring constant supervision.
- Brings fresh ideas and creative direction to our marketing efforts.
- Is reliable, professional, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Is interested in growing alongside our companies.

What We Offer
- Competitive compensation of $28–$35 per hour, depending on experience.
- Flexible part-time scheduling.
- Potential opportunity to transition into full-time employment.
- Exposure to a diverse range of construction projects and specialized equipment.
- Opportunities to develop content for four established and growing businesses.
- Creative freedom to contribute ideas and develop engaging visual content.
- A collaborative working environment with opportunities for professional growth.
- The opportunity to build an impressive portfolio featuring unique construction and industrial projects.
