Duties

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to foster independence and comfort
- Support residents with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, ensuring proper hygiene and food safety standards
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning living areas, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment to promote health and safety
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being
- Observe and report changes in clients’ health status or behavior to healthcare professionals promptly




- Assist with mobility aids and transfer techniques to ensure safe movement within the facility or home environment

Experience

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly desirable
- Proven background in senior care or caring for individuals with disabilities enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Experience working with clients experiencing dementia or other cognitive impairments is an asset
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols is preferred
- Demonstrated caregiving skills combined with a compassionate approach to supporting vulnerable populations
- Ability to perform light cleaning duties efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and families
