About Carm’s Parms

Carm’s Parms is a new, independently operated sandwich shop opening on Locke Street South in Hamilton. Our concept is simple: delicious, handmade parm sandwiches prepared with quality ingredients, freshly breaded cutlets, house-made sauces, and a focus on doing simple food exceptionally well.

We’re currently building our opening team and looking to hire 5–6 enthusiastic, hardworking individuals for a variety of kitchen and counter-service positions.

We’re looking for people who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in preparing great food, and understand the importance of cleanliness, consistency, and teamwork.

Available Positions

Line Cooks

- Prepare, cook, and assemble sandwiches quickly and consistently
- Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely
- Maintain food quality and presentation standards
- Keep workstations clean, stocked, and organized
- Assist with daily opening, closing, and cleaning duties

Prep Cooks

- Prepare ingredients from scratch, including breading cutlets, making sauces, and preparing vegetables
- Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and food safety procedures
- Maintain organized and properly labelled food storage
- Assist with inventory rotation and daily prep requirements
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and prep area

Cashier / Cooks

- Greet customers, take orders, and process payments
- Assemble and package sandwiches and takeout orders
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff




- Assist with basic food preparation and restocking
- Maintain a clean, organized counter and service area

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience in a fast-service restaurant, takeout establishment, sandwich shop, or similar kitchen environment
- Experience preparing food from scratch is a strong asset
- Experience making sandwiches and working on a fast-paced kitchen line is preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper cleaning procedures
- Ability to work efficiently, multitask, and stay organized during busy service periods
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to help wherever needed
- Positive attitude and pride in producing quality food
- Willingness to participate in all aspects of restaurant operations, including cleaning, food preparation, and customer service

Schedule & Availability

Carm’s Parms will operate seven days a week, with both weekday and weekend shifts available.

We are looking for candidates with a variety of availability, including daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.
