As a key employee reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you'll focus on safe and effective saw operation, ensuring materials are processed correctly for scrap. You'll collaborate with team members to verify materials and report any equipment malfunctions.
Additionally, you may support production efforts as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the scrap saw efficiently and safely
- Verify scrap labels on materials before cutting
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly
- Coordinate material flow with Forklift driver
- Assist at production saw and stretcher operations
Requirements:
- Grade 10 education with technical background
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating counterbalance
- Valid forklift license required
- Familiarity with machinery and reading drawings
- Willingness to train and develop skills
