Take your career further as a Geotechnical Engineer at CPKC, North America’s first transnational railroad. This pivotal role involves planning and executing complex geotechnical projects in Calgary or Toronto to enhance railway infrastructure.
The Geotechnical Engineering Field Manager will lead a team focused on safety and regulatory compliance while leveraging advanced engineering practices. Your responsibilities include delivering solutions for geohazard incidents, managing tunnel inspections, and overseeing geotechnical activities across Canada and the U.S. You will also collaborate with multiple stakeholders to optimize project delivery and ensure the reliability of railway operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide solutions for geohazard incidents




• Travel up to 50% for geotechnical activities
• Conduct annual rock slope assessments
• Manage soil and rock slope stabilization contracts
• Develop budget proposals for geohazard management
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical, Geological, or Civil Engineering
• Minimum E.I.T designation
• Valid driver's license and passport
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Solid communication skills
