We seek a dynamic educator committed to supporting 2SLGBTQ+ students through Reach Ahead courses in IDC3O, IDC4O, or IDC4U. The role requires relevant qualifications and personal experience within the community, ensuring that the curriculum meets the specific goals of this program. Your commitment to fostering inclusivity is vital for the success of these courses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver specific credit courses effectively
• Attend required sessions outside scheduled hours
• Facilitate a safe and supportive learning workplace
• Plan and participate in the Rainbow Youth Forum
• Conduct make-up classes if necessary
Requirements:
• Must identify as a member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community
• Hold Intermediate & Senior teaching qualifications from OCT
• Demonstrate 2SLGBTQ+ community advocacy experience
• Available for in-person and outside schedule sessions
• Complete a recent Vulnerable Sector Police Record check
Support 2SLGBTQ+ youth in achieving educational equity through your teaching expertise and lived experiences.
