The Richmond School District is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker/Joiner to perform millwork and maintenance at a journeyperson level. You will work in a well-equipped shop and craft furniture that supports both teachers and students. Ideal candidates are experienced craftsmen who enjoy a busy workspace and value the impact of their work on the educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance and construction across district facilities
• Build, repair, and install cabinets and shelving units
• Design and interpret plans and specifications
• Provide technical expertise to district staff
Requirements:
• Grade 12 with BC Interprovincial Certificate in Carpentry
• Two years' experience in commercial carpentry
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials
• Competence in using common trade tools
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
