Role Summary

You as a Quality Lead will: Ability to champion and lead the effective implementation of operational best practices, risk management strategies, and quality assurance / quality control activities. Be the subject matter expert / main contact for all quality related inquires for PME / EDI. Coordinate project quality programs and documentation with EllisDon Quality Director. Review and main turnover packages, quality records, etc. Participate in quality audit (internal & external) and continue improvement initiative. Liaise with field operations and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are achieved. Travel to project sites will be required. Facilitate proper planning of the work to ensure compliance with project requirements.



Oversee the development and implementation of Subcontractor Quality Plans. Prepare/coordinate the development of Inspection and Testing Plans (ITPs) for all construction activities. Ensure that the ITPs are fully implemented, hold and witness points attended, and issues arising resolved expediently. Create and complete project-specific installation checklists. Monitor execution of construction activities and assess compliance with respect to the construction quality management plan and contract specifications. Complete inspections and documentation associated with the receiving of components, products or other jobsite materials. Participate in consultant and client walkthroughs and assist with the identification, documentation and closure of deficiencies. Requirements

Civil or Construction Engineering diploma or degree with minimum 3 years of experience or equivalent and familiarity with quality management systems and practices. Senior Civil experience required. Must have a valid driver's license. A driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date. Strong background in industrial, heavy civil earthworks, road building and underground utilities. Proficient English language skills required. A reliable means of transportation is required.
