The project and safety manager will participate in the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, ensure that the occupational safety of all workers is prevented and maintained. He will be in charge of the occupational health and safety committee.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Participate and find initiatives for continuous improvement to maximize efficiency, productivity and safety.
- Establish and implement a budget and list of necessary actions
- Validate and implement continuous improvements (Lean manufacturing an asset)
- Participate in the actions of the Compass room

Health and safety

- Lead the health and safety committee.




- Analyze and diagnose various problems related to the health and safety of workers
- Create and implement the various procedures, work instructions and training required related to safety
- Ensure compliance with the procedures put in place.
- Follow up and analyze incidents and accidents that occurred during production
- To act as a link between the various Health and Safety auditors such as CNESST, Novo SST, etc.
- Perform any other related duties as required.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in a manufacturing plant (injection process an asset)
