At Leidos, we are looking for an experienced engineer to take charge of substation protection projects. This remote position requires expertise in AC/DC circuits and digital logic for systems ranging from 12 to 500 kV. Candidates must reside in Canada and be prepared to occasionally travel to the United States for project-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead the delivery of P&C; design projects • Create relay one-line diagrams for protection • Develop detailed AC and DC schematics • Produce effective control panel and wiring layouts • Perform QC checks on designs for accuracy
Requirements: • Bachelor’s in electrical engineering • 8+ years in substation design experience • Proven project execution skills • Solid communication and teamwork abilities • Ability to meet project deadlines
