Lead financial operations as a Controller with Horizon Contracting Group. This pivotal role focuses on monthly close processes, financial reporting, and implementing automation initiatives in a hybrid work setting.
As a Controller, you’ll report directly to the VP of Finance. This position requires a blend of strong accounting expertise, curiosity about automation, and a passion for financial leadership. You will oversee month-end closes and process improvements that support strategic decision-making across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly and quarterly close processes across entities
• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• Conduct budget vs. actual analysis and variance investigations




• Execute consolidation entries while ensuring reporting accuracy
• Implement finance automation initiatives and process improvements
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in project-based accounting is preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience required
• Strong analytical and communication skills
