This full-time, one-year contract role is ideal for a seasoned fundraising skilled with 5-7 years of experience in philanthropy and business development. You will work with leaders and community influencers to enhance Habitat HMD’s major gift pipeline while actively managing a portfolio of high-value prospects. Your expertise in relationship management and strategic fundraising will be key to closing transformative gifts across Mississauga, Halton Region, and the broader GTA.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and manage a portfolio of qualified major gift prospects




• Cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals and organizations
• Develop tailored donor strategies and presentations
• Execute major and capital fundraising campaigns
• Represent Habitat HMD at community and philanthropic events
Requirements:
• 5-7+ years of progressive fundraising experience
• Preferred university degree or equivalent senior professional experience
• Proven record in cultivating and closing significant gifts
• Experience with donor relationship management
• Self-starter with entrepreneurial approach to fundraising
