About the Role: Courier/Handler-2
As a Courier/Handler-2 , you'll be responsible for loading and unloading aircraft and vehicles, sorting packages, and carrying out efficient delivery and pick-up of shipments across your assigned route. You'll also check shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service and handle related customer service functions as needed.
Working within a structured shift schedule — Monday 3:00–9:30 AM and Tuesday through Friday 4:00–10:30 AM — you'll need to be reliable, punctual, and comfortable working early mornings. Flexibility around holidays and varying schedules is also part of the deal, based on business needs.

Requirements / Skills
FedEx is looking for a dependable, customer-focused individual who can handle the physical and organizational demands of courier work. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills , a solid driving record , and the ability to stay composed under pressure.
- High school diploma or educational equivalent required
- Valid driver's licence with a good driving record (two or fewer violations/accidents in the past 24 months)
- One year of customer-oriented business experience preferred
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
- Mandatory pre-placement driver assessment — must meet minimum threshold
- Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Flexibility to work varying schedules and holidays as required
Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record; one (1) year customer oriented business experience preferred; some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset; willing to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays based on business needs.
